Managing Depot Service Request
After you initiate a Depot Service Request, a Service Request item record is created along with associated Service Request Line Items for each added products immediately, even if the request is still in progress and not yet submitted. The Service Request object lists all Service Request Items, where you can edit the items that are still in progress and submit them. Also, you can delete Service Request Items that are no longer required.
However, once a depot and work plans are assigned to the products and the entitlement check is complete, you cannot edit the Service Request. At that point, the system automatically creates Work Orders for the applicable products, and further changes to the Service Request are not allowed.
