Overtime Tolerance (minutes)
The maximum acceptable overtime minutes for the Resource.
Maximum Traveling Distance Per Resource Per Day (km)
The maximum acceptable travel distance per day for the Resource.
Average Travel Speed (km/h)
The average speed at which Resources drive while traveling to and from Appointments.
Travel Before Shift Starts (minutes)
The time allocated for a Resource to start traveling to the first Appointment before the shift starts.
Travel After Shift Ends (minutes)
The time allocated for a Resource to start traveling to home base after the shift ends.

Lead Time (in minutes)
The number of minutes in the time window to be automatically locked to prevent changes by the optimization engine. The time window starts at the current moment and the lock is applied regardless of any previously configured Job- specific configurations or optimization setting-level locks.
Skill Level Preference
The preference level for skill restrictions during optimization. Only Resources that have all mandatory skills at the required levels for the related Job can be scheduled by the optimization engine. This value is used to prioritize the Resources that are eligible for scheduling based on the specified preference levels:
• No Preference: All Resources that have mandatory skills with the same or higher levels are equally preferred. (Default)
• Higher Level: Resources that have mandatory skills with higher levels than required are preferred over those with levels close to the required value.
• Appropriate Level: Resources that have mandatory skills with levels close to the required level are preferred over those with levels higher than required.
Allow Drive Time Adjustment
Enable adjustment of the travel time buffer to accommodate situations where Resources cannot travel from the previously scheduled work location to arrive precisely on time for optimized Appointments.
Drive Time Adjustment Maximum Limit (in minutes)
The maximum travel time error tolerance value to prevent the optimization engine from scheduling invalid Events or Appointments in cases where travel times are long.
Drive Time Adjustment Percentage Factor
The Event or Appointment travel time error tolerance percentage. Acceptable values are from 0 to 100.
The default value is 10, and values between 1 and 25 are supported. If fewer than the maximum number of time slots are proposed, all appear on the Scheduler Calendar.

You can set only one Optimization Setting record as active and default. When you set a new record as the default, the Default check box is automatically cleared in the previous default record.
