PM Templates
The PM template enables you to define applicable Products, schedules to be included, and, service tasks (Generated from Work Plans) or tasks (Generated from Task Templates) to be performed as part of Preventive Maintenance. You can either associate
Task templates or
Work Plans with Schedule Templates within the PM Plan template. The Task template defines the tasks and required parts for carrying out the preventive maintenance for a given schedule. The Work Plan defines the service tasks, recommended parts, and tools required to efficiently handle PM Work Orders.
You can either create
Time-Based or
Condition-Based PM templates based on your requirements.
While creating
PM Plans, you can associate PM Plan Template to:
• Create schedule definitions from templates, which informs the PM Work Orders created from the plan.
• Associate the work templates with scheduling definitions, which are used to assign vital tasks, parts, and tools to the PM Work Orders.
• Identify the covered installed products or locations for that Plan, based on applicable products defined in the template.
