Support for Multi-User on a Form Instance
The form instance started by a user on a specific source record, such as a work order, remains visible and accessible only to that user. The Release and Claim feature enables multi-user participation in jobs spanning multiple days or shifts, and the form allows for ownership transfer.
This functionality facilitates collaboration among users involved in complex projects, ensuring that each user can contribute by completing their assigned portions of the form while passing it along to others for further action.
The feature is currently available for Web, Android, and iOS users. For more information, see the
Multi-User Form.
As an administrator, you can enable this feature for the technicians where the form can be made available for multi-users. For more information, see the Properties Tab.
As a technician, you can claim a form, or release a form for other users to access. For more information, refer to the following sections.
Customizing the Layout of the Form in Document Template (Beta)
The feature allows administrators to build a document template using elements from associated DataGuide forms. Administrators can bring the entire form into the document template and modify the arrangement of the questions in the document template designer.
The feature allows administrators to bring individual form questions into the document template one at a time, placing them anywhere within the body of the document template canvas. This means administrators have complete control over the positioning of each question, allowing them to create documents that align with the business needs and constantly refine and adjust the document templates as the requirements evolve. For more information, see
Customizing PDF with Forms Responses.
The administrators can customize the layout of the document templates by including the forms and the questions. This drives efficiency, enhances professionalism, and creates documents that meet the organization's requirements. For more information, see
Adding Questions.
