Troubleshooting: Preventive Maintenance
This section lists some of the troubleshooting tipswhen using the Preventive Maintenance.
Problem
Solution
Work Order generated by PM process cannot be closed via SFM.
You can follow either of the two solutions below to resolve this issue:
Solution 1: Enable edit permission on the Covered Product Object for the impacted profile.
Solution 2: Turn off the SET003 (Module: Preventive Maintenance; Submodule: PM Actions) if PM actions on Work order are not required.
This setting enables the PM action trigger on the Work order, which performs task creation for the PM Work Order (If it's not created from PM engine) and calculates the number of PM Work Orders delivered for a covered product under a service contract when the Work Order is closed.
